O entendimento do processo de degenerativo, experimental ou não, é relevante no que diz respeito aos protocolos terapêuticos empregados. Aulas e discussão de trabalhos científicos relacionados ao estudo das diferentes moléstias articulares, abordando-se modalidades diagnósticas clínicas e laboratoriais, assim como possibilidades terapêuticas, enfocando o melhor prognóstico.
